Cornerstone is the Bride of Christ and a body of worshipers who are being fit together as living stones into the temple of God.
We long to see Cornerstone alive in her sacred union with God, discovering and stewarding the revelation of His heart and mind, interceding for His church and the world.
The mission of Cornerstone is to be a catalyst of human flourishing through walking in the dominion of grace, leading others to enriched fulfillment in Christ, and creating / re-framing the culture around us.

In Christ—We believe that identity in Christ is everything. Upon entering into a relationship with Jesus, we are made new, given a new name, and become partakers in the nature of Christ. Everything changes, we receive the Holy Spirit and we are hidden with Christ in God. As sons and daughters of the Most High God, we stand victorious over sin as the clean and beautiful Bride of Christ and seek to live in the power and authority of His cross, resurrection and ascension.
In Community—As sons and daughters who are the Bride of Christ, we are made to live in community with one another in the Body of Christ. We believe that each member has a unique and irreplaceable role in the life of Cornerstone and we seek to fit each one where they receive maximum joy and fulfillment as they live their identities in Jesus in the context of our community. We choose diversity of ethnicity, opinion, and religious heritage, and revel in the insanity it seems to produce.
In Lebanon—Our prayer is: “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Our goal is not to purchase hell insurance in order to weather the storms of this life and eventually go to “a better place.” We do not want to get “there”; we want to get “there” here. We believe what Lebanon needs is the presence and glory of Jesus as released through the Body of Christ. It is time for the church to stop whining about or trying to escape the culture in which we live. God is inviting His people to offer something better: a real Jesus who changes the lives and cities in which we live.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is inspired by God and is without error as originally transcribed. It contains His truth about the past, the present and the future and is truly applicable for every aspect of our lives. God, the Author of all things, exists as one God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God created mankind to have complete relationship with Him. Sin entered the world and mankind became separated from God. Jesus Christ gave up His position next to God to come to earth where He lived a sinless life. He voluntarily died on a cross as our substitute to pay the price for our sins and then rose from the dead thereby allowing us the possibility of a restored and renewed relationship with God. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and mankind. For all those who accept His sacrifice He gives the Holy Spirit as a guide for personal growth leading to a fully transformed life. At some point in the future, Jesus will return to abolish evil from the earth and set up His Kingdom and rule perfectly over His creation. The church is part of God's design to encourage, and support believers while corporately glorifying God through various forms of service and worship.
